Predicted lineups for GW 312 for J1 League for Patreon

Intro

This GW we have a full 9 games in the J1 League this GW

I have made the predicted lineups on the PlaySharper app which can be found here:

I have also copy pasted the image of the lineups incase you have difficulty accessing the desktop site.

Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.

I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.

These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks! I may well miss something but a lot of times its due to lack of information where we get "surprise" DNPs. I will also have more info for players I own as a I naturally check those more actively.

Player Suspensions

The following players are suspended for this GW:

-Takamine (Sapporo) -Saito (G Osaka) -Araki (Hiroshima) -Tachibanada (Kawasaki) -Kanuma (Iwata)

Fixtures GW310

Sapporo vs Fukuoka

  • Takamine is suspended for this game

  • Miyazawa is back in training but seems to early for him to start

  • Suga at the time of writing hasnt been seen in training so I have Aoki starting

  • My feeling is Fukumori will return to defense though we could see Nakamura instead depending on his condition/managers tactical choice

  • Manager has said he expect sJohn Mary to make an impact - though again suggests it will be from the bench

  • Nara is available again. As always, its very hard to predict if Fukuoka will play all 3 (Miya, Groli & Nara) or have just 2 of the 3 playing with one on the bench

Betting Odds

Kawasaki vs Shimizu

  • From Tuesdays training we know that Chanthip, Jung Sung Ryong, Damiao, Kurumaya and Jesiel were all in light training

  • Frustratingly there has been no update yet on if they can play this GW. I would not risk in any meangifull team if possible. Kurumaya injury was the lightest

  • Tachibanada is suspended for this game. Tono/Seko/Matsui could come in for this game

  • I will update on Discord if and when I see any updates today

  • Gonda is in training after an injury in international duty

Betting Odds

Yokohama FM vs Gamba Osaka

  • I expect a strong YFM side to play with Nishimura replacing M.Junior

  • Saito is suspended for this game with R.Yamamoto/Darwan/Kurata the likely replacement. Otherwise I see a similar side with Usami leading the line

Betting Odds

Iwata vs Kashima

  • Naoki Kanuma is suspended for this game

  • Antlers suffered a crushing defeat in the Emperors cup on Wednesday against a J2 team which ended all hopes of silverware this season

  • There are problems inside the squad with the prematch interview being cancelled for this weekends game:

  • As they played on Wednesday, there is increased risk of general rotation. Below is the team that play and those who did the full 90 mins are at most risk

  • In a post game interview, Sun Tae alluded to that game being his last game with the club

  • Oki hasnt been in the squad recently even though he is fit to play. Can only assume Hayakawa will continue though the manager has said he wants to experiment with youth players in general for the remaining games

Betting Odds

Kyoto vs Nagoya

  • This is the lineup that Kyoto played in their 2-1 loss in the emperors cup on Wednesday. I expect general changes (where possible and no injuries) to the team that played last week

  • Soma v likely returns to the starting lineup

Betting Odds

Kobe vs Hiroshima

  • Thuler not seen in training this week, there is talk of a longer term injury on the msg boards but this is not confirmed yet

  • Mugosa seen in training but I expect to see him to be on the bench at best with Osako playing well and Vissel finding some form

  • Araki is suspended for this game

  • Hiroshima played 120 mins in their win in the Emperors Cup semi final vs Kyoto on Wednesday night. It was an intense game and a number of players were v fatigued.

  • Viera was injured in this game and is a big doubt for this GW

  • In general Skibbe has avoided rotating players so that is why the predicted team remain similar to what he has played most of the season. However there is no denying the players were exhausted at the end of cup game hence the lower %s than normal.

Betting Odds

Urawa vs Sagan

  • Linsen looks very likely to start this game. The squad have been experimenting with different setups in training with the below the one that seems most likely

  • Moberg is in training and is pushing for a start

  • Diego was surprisingly not in the starting X11 last weekend. I think it was a tactical choice due to Hwang Seok Ho being suspended. I expect them both to return for this game.

Betting Odds

FC Tokyo vs Shonan

  • Abe scored a wondergoal against Kashima and is pushing for a start with Higashi the most likely to be at risk

  • Adailton is vying for top goalscorer and I was surprised he was on the bench last week. Its a close call between him and Leandro on who starts

Betting Odds

Kashiwa vs C.Osaka

  • There is lots of talk about the keeper position. This isnt the first time that Sasakis position has been questioned but he has continued to start

  • Ominami hasnt been seen in training so is a doubt here

  • Okuno is a big doubt for this game. Suzuki has recovered well from his sprained ankle and should start

  • Nelson Ishiwatari is a big prospect for Cerezo and could well feature in this game

  • Kiyotake has been seen in training and should start here. He has had some injury flare ups so they are being very careful with using him recently.

Betting Odds

Finish

I hope you found this useful!

In terms of betting odds -Yokohama FM have the best xG odds with 2.5 and Kawasaki have the best CS odds at 45%

As discussed, the below three teams played in the Emperors Cup on Wednesday and at higher risk of general rotation:

  • Hiroshima

  • Kyoto

  • Kashima

The below teams play midweek:

Projected end of season table

The below is from this site. It simulates the games to produce outcomes. It is of course not perfect but I do find it useful to understand the general risks of relegation and chances of ACL qualification etc

As always these are just my own views on the situation based on research for each team.

I will be updating the Discord Channel with any info I see that could prove useful all the way to deadline, so keep a look out for that! Good luck!!
