Predicted lineups for GW 300 for J1 League for Patreon

Intro

This GW we have 6 J1 Leagues in the J1 League

Important to note we should get the Sagan Tosu vs Fukuoka game before the deadline! I will post this on discord when they come out

I have made the predicted lineups on the PlaySharper app which can be found here:

I have also copy pasted the image of the lineups incase you have difficulty accessing the desktop site.

Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.

I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.

These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks! I may well miss something but a lot of times its due to lack of information where we get "surprise" DNPs. I will also have more info for players I own as a I naturally check those more actively.

Player Suspensions

The following players are suspended for this GW:

Fixtures GW300

Sagan vs Fukuoka

  • We will get the lineups for this game around 1 hour before the deadline, I will post them on Discord

Betting Odds

Shimizu vs Kyoto

  • Shimizu are performing well recently and are 4 games unbeaten so I expect the same/similar starting X11 to the last game

  • Santana in particular has been in excellent form as they claw their way out of the relegation battle

  • Kyoto have had a number of covid outbreaks in the previous month. This has now cleared up and the majority of their players are fit and ready to go

  • Ogiwaras fitness is one concern for this one hence the 40%

  • New signing Alan Carius is pushing for a start

Betting Odds

Nagoya vs Gamba

  • No fresh concerns for Nagoya at the time of writing this so I expect the same team as last time around as the continue to build momentum/stability

  • Gambas struggles continued despite a change in manager with a crushing 5-2 loss last weekend.

  • The below is from the excellent Gamba blog which can be found here and outlines the injuries/players with uncertainty this GW

  • As this is still early for the new manager we may well see more changes. For me, despite my soft spot for them - Gamba are a team to avoid on Sorare if possible at the moment.

Betting Odds

Kashiwa vs Tokyo

  • Mitsumura hasnt been seen in training (yet) so is a doubt for this one

  • Hosoya being substituted was a tactical decision and he did the press conference yesterday. There is still a risk Muto will be chosen ahead of him

  • Ryoma Watanabe is back in training and I see him pushing for a start here as he brings defensive balance to the side

  • Adailton should start on the left with Leandro also pushing for a start

  • Uncertain if new signing Luiz Phellype is ready to start this one

Betting Odds

Frontale vs Kashima

  • Damiao hasnt been seen in training is unlikely for this one

  • Chinen and Kobayashi in the running to replace him. The msg boards favour Chinen but hard to know. Frontale also play midweek so could well see the minutes shared between the two (assuming Damiao is out)

  • Noborizato not seen in training. Chanathip only seen since Wednesday after missing a session - unclear if fit enough to start

  • Oshima back in full training and could start, depending on the formation employed. Schmidt has been doing well so uncertain where he would go

  • Jung Sung Ryong returned to South Korea for the funeral of his mother & unlikely to play this one

  • Tsunemoto is out injured with Hirose likely to take his spot

  • Pituca also returns from suspension and likely starts

  • There are 2 covid cases in the team but seems v likely to be non regular starters based on info from the message boards.

Betting Odds

Cerezo Osaka vs Hiroshima

  • Toriumi, Jonjic and Nishio all seen in training. Uncertain which 2 of the 3 start for this one

  • Kiyotake in full training and could start here

  • As described in the below article - Skibbe has brought about consistency to the club, both in terms of training and team selection. I expect a similar side to last time around as Hiroshima continue playing a high impressive brand of football

Betting Odds

Finish

I hope you found this useful!

In terms of betting odds - Nagoya have the best chance of a clean sheet at 50%. Sagan Tosu also have decent % at 43%. We also get the lineups for the Sagan Tosu game which may well give an edge

There are a couple of big games this GW with Kawasaki vs Antlers and my personal favourite matchup - C.Osaka vs Hiroshima. I feel Hiroshima are just about favourites here but visiting the Sakura stadium is always a taunting test for any team!

As always these are just my own views on the situation based on research for each team.

I will be updating the Discord Channel with any info I see that could prove useful all the way to deadline, so keep a look out for that! Good luck!!
