Predicted lineups for GW 301 for J1 League for Patreon

Intro

This GW we have 2 rearranged J1 League games this midweek

I have made the predicted lineups on the PlaySharper app which can be found here:

I have also copy pasted the image of the lineups incase you have difficulty accessing the desktop site.

Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.

I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.

These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks! I may well miss something but a lot of times its due to lack of information where we get "surprise" DNPs. I will also have more info for players I own as a I naturally check those more actively.

Player Suspensions

The following players are suspended for this GW:

Dawan (Gamba Osaka)

Miya (Fukuoka)

Taisei Miyashiro is also not available for this GW due to contractual reasons (He is playing against his parent team)

Fixtures GW301

Fukuoka vs Gamba Osaka

  • Miya is suspended for this game and the returning Grolli is v likely starting next to Nara

  • Yanagis loan contract has been cancelled with the club after the was caught drink driving this week

  • Nagaishi replaced Murakami in the previous game and this should continue.

  • The manager has said that the condition of the squad players is improving after so many were hit by covid

  • Dawhan is suspended for this game

  • I dont expect many changes to the team that impressed in their 2-0 win over Nagoya over the weekend with Suzuki perhaps vying for a starting place here

  • 2 covid cases were announced last week - likely 2 of Shoji/Onose/Kurata

Betting Odds

Frontale vs Sagan Tosu

  • No official training photos have been released as of typing but the fans msg board have said Sung Ryong is back. I am personally playing him a less important team as though I am pretty confident he will play, there is still risk there without training pics/manager comments:

  • Damiao hasnt been seen in training and no official diagnosis of his injury. Very unlikely to play here

  • Kawasaki played on Saturday and have another game vs Shonan on Saturday so I think there will be some rotation. Its always hard to work out who but I can see Kuruyama coming in here (can play LB or CB)

  • Oshima, Tonno and Chinen are also vying for spots

  • Its particular hard to work out where rotation will occur as this is first time in a long time that Frontale have a relatively fit squad that enables them to rotate

  • Miyashiro is unable to play this one due to contractual reasons

  • Koizumi returns from suspension and v likely starts here

  • Sagan also play on Saturday so there is also rotation risk. I see Kakita/Ono starting this one in place of Miyashiro

Betting Odds

Finish

I hope you found this useful!

In terms of betting odds - Frontale have v good CS and winning odds. However, there backline will be hard to predict imo though I do Yamane the best option here

For the Specials, I like Grolli as a relatively save option to start. Gamba impressed at the weekend and though its too early to know if that was a one off or a change in dynamics for the team, Alano is a potentially decent option for specialist Noborizato is at risk of a rotation but has a high point ceiling for Frontale

As always these are just my own views on the situation based on research for each team.

I will be updating the Discord Channel with any info I see that could prove useful all the way to deadline, so keep a look out for that! Good luck!!
